Project Description
We implemented Elasticsearch based search for online games store which is based on osCommerce. It has over 50,000 items in catalog available in 100’s of sotres. The site was using default osCommerce search due to which results were not accurate and performance was slow. Our team implemented Elasticsearch to replace default search. We designed custom indexes for store with focus on indexing performance and search relevancy. Filters based on price, condition, availability, genre etc are provided for easy and fast filtering of the matched results. Elasticsearch integration with this osCommerce store improved not only results accuracy but it also helped improve overall performance of the site.
